The recession here and some reviews on the net voted me positively and I ordered the device.
It was neatly packed and commissioning was not a problem.
The workmanship is good and the design appealing (matter of taste)
After switching on the device showed the supposedly z.Zt. existing relative humidity and tried to set me Desired value of 50% relative humidity in automatic mode. Keep humidity.
The first thing I noticed was that the device has virtually no hysteresis. Ie once arrived at the setpoint it reacts to a deviation +/- 1% rel. Humidity.
One might think - is so great, so exactly - but I was wrong. The unit constantly switches on and off, the duty cycle is only 5 to 10 seconds. The fan is clearly heard and it just sucks.
These short "bursts of steam" and the fact that the unit while the 50% rel. Humidity kept exactly startled me.
. Remeasured with a precision measuring instrument from Testo, confirmed my suspicion:
a. 50% rel. F. did not correspond to the room situation. There were only 35% rel. F. !!
b. The short switch-on sufficient evident to the built-in humidity sensor to fool the correct value. But this was only around for this little "subsystem" directly to the device. In room there was no effect.
So for me, an absolute sham and a return more than justified.
I want to frustrate anyone, but those who are so enthusiastic about the device should measure it in automatic mode times.
For those who can do without an automatic (want), there are cheaper devices without this hocus-pocus of the illuminated tank, the chases in evaporation operation, the night light ?! and the wrong, vorgaukelnden comfort, moisture indicator.
