Delivered the small receiver (ca.20cm x 10cm x 5cm) with the remote control and batteries for the same.
Unfortunately, no connecting cable is attached. Here I have to say what should enclose the manufacturer as well? A DVB-T receiver usually need only people who still have an old tube TV. All flat-screen TV's have built this. Thus, you can connect with older TVs no HDMI cable, but you need the old Scart cable. This should really not have any anywhere.
All parts appear at first glance and also haptic very solid. The receiver has a solid housing made of metal and also the nice flat remote fits comfortably in your hand. Nothing creaks and the keys have clean pressure points.
The initial setup is easy.
Connect the antenna and connect to the TV. (SCART or HDMI)
Turning on and tuning can begin. The menu is concise. Everything is easy to find and the keys for controlling are arranged logically. Sorting channels, Parental Control, USB recorder with TimeShift, Media Player, everything available and clearly.
At the existing USB 2.0 interface can be easily connected a hard disk.
To this can be used as a recorder, to others, the media player play all data.
Here you can not complain. All popular video formats makes the receiver off easily. Also photos as a slide show are played cleanly.
High praise, the hard disk can be formatted in NTFS or FAT32. Most receivers, TV sets, etc. can only access FAT32 formats.
The picture quality is impeccable. Also the sound is looped clean. Here, of course, is a useful antenna condition.
With HDMI 1080p maximum output.
Most of all I'm really impressed by how mentioned user-friendly menu which aufweißt a fast response time. Here many TV devices are significantly slower.
The EPG function is designed as clearly. Current program plus information are presented in a clear and legible text.
For me, the Xoro Freeview Receiver HRT 7522 HD is a very solid device, which is exemplary in terms of usability.
Only the price could be lower minimal. Here you just have to keep in mind that you hardly needed at the present time an external DVB-T receiver. Because of their features and the processing of my good 4-5 star.
Criticism there unfortunately.
Unfortunately, the manual which you do not actually really needed has fallen significantly too small, yet. Not in the implementation of the texts, but in format. Here elderly people without magnifying glass should no longer cope. These are the printed b / w pictures of something vague and hardly recognizable. Too Bad. something could have been avoided.
This and the minimum price to high costs a scarce star. Hard but fair.
I can recommend the receiver safely.
(The manufacturer:. Rarely has a manufacturer specialized in the test products an extra note or a short letter for the tester attaches But at this point, thank you.)
