1. The mouse has no middle button on the mouse wheel! The pressure on the mouse wheel is used to switch the mouse wheel between precise and rapid rolls. However, is just behind the wheel a button that you can prove "middle mouse button" function. I find this funny, but've gotten used to it. Many will not interfere with that, but users who have become accustomed to the middle mouse button (tabs and functions in various programs), the find probably getting used to.
2. The mouse is compatible with Windows 7. However, the relevant information on the Logitech corporate Web site are currently not updated directly from the product. One needs SetPoint 4.8, which is not easy to find. Then it works well.
3. When the mouse is idle for a few seconds, then it switches to a standby mode. We then used it again, it only slightly jerky. What bothers me is the not, but I would imagine that others are more sensitive here.
