Good network adapter ...

To block any USB port, because this is what I call more often need as Thunderbolt, I recently acquired this Thunderbolt on RJ45 network adapter.
The price of 29, I felt neither a bargain nor as excessive expensive.
Delivered the adapter in the familiar white packaging. Included are 3 leaflet about the guarantee scheme and instructions for use, and of course the 13.2 cm long adapter.

When unpacking I immediately fell to the realtiv high rigidity of the cable that connects the RJ45 port with the Thundebolt plug.
The Thunderbolts ability to grind the signal through several units was unfortunately not used at all in this adapter.
He blocked a Thunderbolt connector port, without the ability to turn other devices in series.

After plugging in the adapter installed in the system automatically and could be used immediately.
The transmission rates in the range 100 Mbit could be quite impressive, 1 Gb could not be tested due to lack of hardware connections.

At that, here often described, heat-development during prolonged operation, I can not make no statement because it did not occur to me. After a 70 GB Time Machine backup surf followed by Youtube was the adapter not even lukewarm.
