Actually, I have a simple laptop pad wanted because my laptop sometimes became very hot down and have decided just because of design and the name "Logitech" for the product. Buying I have not looked back since. The rubberized surface is very high quality and handy laptop holds (up to 17 ") in the inclined position. The built-in touchpad is quite nice to use, but since I use still prefer the trackpoint of the ThinkPad or a mouse.
