Once the appearance:
- Very positive, I find the look / design of the radio. Here you get something very subtle. The radio is not blinking in all colors like a brothel door. It is this criterion has also moved me to purchase a Blaupunkt's because I did not want my Young Timer too much tear from his nostalgia.
- However, I must also say that the volume knob could do with a little rubber. If you have something moist in summer hands, the knob feels but very slippery and cheap.
- The panel for the USB connector does not slide, as with other manufacturers, in the radio into it. Instead, always hangs down a rubber cap on the radio.
- The supplied mounting frame shakes a little and not properly seated firmly in the car, but that may be linked to my 25 year old car lying.
About the technology:
- The sound quality with Bluetooth is very good, as long as you do not get too turned up on the volume on the mobile phone (then catch the boxes on to "crunch").
- Reading a 8GB USB flash drives takes in more than 1,000 songs longer than in the product description described, but is manageable.
- The radio is equipped with max. 45 watts amazing sound.
- CD's are played smoothly and in very good quality.
- The speakerphone works remarkably well coupled Smartphone (Galaxy S5) and the call participant sees a very clear (good microphone).
Conclusion:
All in all works on the radio not quite soooo high-class design, but this is not tragic. The radio is discreet than anything else on the market and for the price a really good radio. I would buy it again.
