I arrived at the settings listed below at the end. The image is thus clearly improved. One should also keep in mind, every TV is slightly different by the series spread and margin in the factory calibration. Therefore I will give general recommendations and try to explain what each setting does, rather than merely a list of runterzurattern Settings. But these values are as a starting point certainly-compatible than the standard values.
Picture Mode "film" - according to the unanimous opinion of the mode with the most natural colors
Backlight - adjust to taste. The maximum brightness is also different depending on the panel size.
Activate Eco Sensor and place on two or more levels below the value for the backlight.

MotionPlus - Custom, blur reduction 10 / judder reduction 2 / "LED Clear Motion" from
Blur reduction can remain at 10 almost always, if you discover any side effects. Judder reduction affects the smoothness and uniformity of movement, on full blast leads to the so-called "soap effect". I set it to only 2 or 3, which is completely a matter of taste. Why Clear Motion from? Well, unlike the UE48H6600 I had here at the same time, rich in UE55H6290 reserves the backlight, if one puts it on 20. Clear Motion makes the image darker namely, by Black Frame Insertion. The problem with UE55H6290 lies rather in the fact that I noticed an annoying flicker in a YouTube video, which was found only with activated Clear Motion. Although the normal Motion Plus is not bad either, but is more prone to artifacts (small artifacts). But I prefer in every situation a flicker-free image and only use MotionPlus.
At "Contrast", "Brightness", "Color" and "Tint G / R" should rotate only in exceptional cases, these are almost optimal. Most problems can resolve better than other settings.
To color space and color: The color space setting "Native" more vivid colors partly as "Auto", but goes beyond the TV-production color space beyond. This means some colors (especially oranges) are too intense and no longer comply with the standard. The more correct "Auto" has something flauere compared to "native" color. This can be compensated for "shade", by selecting a warmer setting there. Depending on the TV model, however it may be that at Hue "Warm1" or "Warm2" gray and white surfaces get a color cast. This is regulated then the white balance out again. Whether tinted or not, also depends on the installed panel from (the most common panel are from Samsung, AUO and Sharp). But this just for info. One can actually drive out any color cast using white balance again. The aim should be to get a pure white, with natural colors. Watch out, in 3D mode you have to make the picture settings again, the factory settings are namely specified. However, I would be there backlight and contrast to 20 to 100, since the image is dark. The rest of you can assume from the above list. The room should be well darkened, sunlight etc. that appear elsewhere flicker on the sides.
As for the service, Samsung has fixed some annoyances of the previous series, but by no means all. In Guide (EPG) you can again jump +24 hours, a line indicates the time, where you are. The screen space is utilized partly miserable, for example, in the display of your videos or photographs. The TV sound is lean, although it lasts for talk shows and the like, but not for the big screen. If the sound is to the image appropriately heard, you have to actually getting a system / receiver, connect a soundbar / Sound Plate or active speakers. There Connects HDMI with ARC, the optical digital output and the headphone output (mini-jack). Using mini jack to RCA cable, you can direct the sound to a stereo amplifier that has no digital input or HDMI. However, this is not a temporary solution, the sound is good about it. Also, the level ranges from more than if you have turned up far enough on TV. The volume of a connected via HDMI Soundbar can be changed via the TV remote control, which I was able to test themselves. Good stereo or even 5.1 speaker will be a sound bar but tonally superior.
Conclusion: The great and the good image format support in the connected data stores, which are some of the advantages of this TV. If you still caught a cheap price, you can ignore even a few less sophisticated functionality.
