I had tested and to date, over 15 cameras, but unfortunately you can not me the Canon compared to price identical products convince.
For Explanation:
The Canon comes with the usual accessories such as charger for the battery, software, hand strap, USB data cable, but unfortunately no memory card. But this I bemängel with each manufacturer.
The Ixus is meticulously crafted and stable, which in Canon almost always is really the case. The feel of the device looks solid. Visually appealing and small and compact for your pocket from the format.
The image results are impressive. Here I can really point out any negative aspects. Clean images, sharp, rich in detail, however. But with most compact slight losses in the higher ISO range The colors appear natural. The autofocus and the automatic image works well and reliably.
Videos in HD picture are technically excellent. The sound could be minimal clearer.
Now to what others can do better, namely the touchscreen.
Compared to Nikon in the same price segment, fails here the IXUS what I have to say with regret, because I am really convinced of Canon cameras.
The touchscreen, Canon responded to my feeling too bad. This is not only because of the sensitivity but also the fact that the panels are partially decided on the small side and we therefore really struggling to press the button you want to press.
I also find the menus look cluttered.
Especially in a small compact camera I expect a fast, smooth operation. If I want experemtieren, I take my DSLR.
Even though I maybe too many influences of a Nikon let tiling, but it must be said clearly, the touch screen and can use it better.
I can give good 4 star for good image results, jdoch I prefer a for operation again. Thus, solid 3 star.
Of course, there may be people better cope with this camera as I do, but I recommend everyone before buying to look at other touchscreen cameras.
