Good replacement for Edge I

After I was one of the first owners of Edge I incl. Halogen lighting modest, quickly a community formed the next to set up and stocking the Edge also interested in the modding (meinEdge.de).
After the halogen bulbs were quickly replaced by an LED variant, so the lighting was still not perfect, from the onset of sophisticated plants could even completely refrain.

The forum, the first lamps mods now presented with more spots, even I tried another approach. In addition to the existing spots, I used 2 Large GU5 radiator outside of the lid. Now the corners were completely illuminated and challenging groundcover growing.

Quite happy but I still was not with the original illumination arm, because the existing LED spots quickly oxidized and precipitated after a short time.
Here the new, original LED arm of Hagen was just right. After me the LED arm for the Edge I had light default totally disappointed, I ordered the II for the Edge.

Here should be mentioned: The LED for Arm Edge I and Edge II are identical in size and fit each arm fits on each Edge version. Only the number of LEDs is different.

The exchange of the arm was straight forward and gestatltete easily. The included power supply is now simply plugged into the LED arm and is not permanently installed.

Now, with the large number of LEDs was the lighting in most of the basin in order, only the corners are still as good as dark. Also you should be aware that the LED is light cool white and warm white not.
For some, this seems pretty cool.

I now use remains still my 2 additional, warm white spots around the outer corners to illuminate, but to be able to cultivate for the central region and to ground cover is the arm highly recommended.
