We have the Petra KM bought 30.27 because our fully automatic machine has unfortunately given up the ghost. We had long wondered back and forth, what we should do, but a fully automatic machine was priced just not there. So now for PETRA: The design is good, though made of plastic, it is nice and small, does not take up so much space on the coffee machine square off as the fully automatic. Noise default, it is also nice and quiet. The Kaffeeaufbrühen makes now even sounds that could have been even at a normal coffee (the bubble in most cases). This is not removable drip pan, do not bother. When evening dressing the coffee and the removable parts rinses (coffee spout, holding grid, pad holder) with hot water and the drip tray short ausreibt with a damp cloth, the coffee world is ratzfatz back in order. The pad holder is indeed plastic, but brilliant with its 2 sides. Better than the Senseo where you would 2 different holders are at home. The mechanism for pad locking Although petite, but when the pad is inserted properly, and applying any brute force, no problem. The Mug Volume can be programmed easily. When times but has a smaller cup or a stronger coffee want, you can short press another button and the brewing process is terminated. Another positive aspect is the huge 1.8 liter water tank, because you can really cook much coffee without constantly refilling water. We have no problems that somewhere dripping water. The fuel cap may indeed be lifted and you can then pour water directly (eg from a water filter), without having to transport the tank. As an ex-fully automatic-users we have to say: The "Crema" is not really a Crema, as we know them from fully automatic, but ok. In use of "Cafe-Crema" pads the effect is further enhanced. Since then it has partially been problems even get milk into the cup, out of sheer foam.
Conclusion: The machine is completely suitable for normal home use, the coffee is nice and hot and tasty. Even with festivities you can, thanks to the 2-cup-function serve the guests quickly with delicious coffee.
