Positives:
+ Keystrokes are exactly in my taste, a little stronger than the G15 but not too strong
+ In contrast to the G15 I can now choose the color of the lighting itself
+ The display is to my surprise, very well done
+ 3x 12 G keys aboslut sufficient
+ Continuously variable wheel to adjust the volume (I personally prefer to press a permanently)
+ 2x USB 2.0 on the rear of the keyboard
Negatives:
- The key for the screen require a lot of pressure, a slight bending of the keyboard exists, a lighter keystroke would have helped
- The keys are in my opinion more closely than in the G15, especially the G-keys on the left side
Neutral:
/ Glossy display, for gamers in a dark room should not be a problem
/ Cable Management underneath the keyboard, for me less interesting because my cable down behind the table and depends does not bother me there.
/ The keyboard requires for the full operation of an additional power supply, not necessarily a negative point but for someone who already has a full power strip that can be a little problem.
In addition, I would like to mention that the first G19 I ordered through Amazon had a defect. On the defects G19 only the standard radio ions have to work, so no display, no G-keys and no lighting. After a long search on the Internet I could read that occurs this defect probably more common. Software error was auszuschliesen. The new G19 works perfectly.
Thanks to the quick reaction of Amazon, I was able to maintain the new equipment the next morning in my hands.
About the price / performance ratio can argue. The initial price of the G19 was in my opinion a bit too high which is also the reason why I got myself later.
Everyone wants to invest the some extra money can not go far wrong here, however, should not be forgotten the other negative reviews.
