Did this set purchased as a gift and it was very well received.
The mills paint very well, both the salt and the pepper.
It come per mill 4 AA (Mignon) batteries for use, which in my experience is better than 6 AAA batteries - a combination, how often found in cheap products and when the batteries are exhausted quickly.
