The softbox I then tested in an outdoor shooting and it has served its purpose. The faces were well evenly lit and not outshone. The images were shot in portrait and landscape formats.
Camera: Nikon D90 (mode A & M) Lens: AF-S Nikkor 18-105 AF-S Nikkor 55-300 & (blurred background) Flash: Nikon SB-700 (mode: TTL & M)
partly for additional illumination - Reflector 110cm diameter
postiv:
+ Soft shadows
+ Natural Color
+ No red eyes
negative:
- Adhesive pads to attach with Velcro on the softbox flash (so I do not want to stick something on my 300 expensive dedicated flash)
- No indication that you can order a LumiQest Ultra Strap to fix the softbox and so (did I first helped out with a rubber kitchen)
- Edges do not quite fit on one another (+ but that the illumination does not diminish)
On the whole, a good mix of price / performance ratio for amateur photographers, less suitable for the prosumer and professional use, because there are models in the higher price segment, which lend themselves better.
But since I am still at the beginning and try out a lot, it's ok :-)
