The sound quality is very good for this price range, treble and bass are crisp, the mids come a bit too short, but that does not stand out on. Volume, on / off and bass are switched to the right box, something strange (but logical) of the D-sub connector is used for subwoofers. The boxes are unfortunately quite susceptible to hum / ground loops (eg extreme if you touch the connector with your fingers). Some devices can also cause a humming from the subwoofer can be heard when the power is not completely disconnected, usually one also hears the power on / off, a crackling. Who cares can exchange the unit; with me it does not occur, and even if it would not bother me, because the boxes are always off the power strip.
Inputs there via jack (on the right box) and RCA (on the subwoofer), what happens when you I have followed both sources not previously attempted a switch there is not anyway. They also offer to the right box two outputs with jack plugs: one at reduced power for the headphones and the output off the boxes and one of the loops through unchanged the audio signal.
Negative is me nothing else noticed, therefore no star deduction. Recommendation for the device!
