The carrier I bought through Amazon. The delivery was fast and carefully. This also applies to the additional rail for the extension for transporting a fourth wheel. The carrier is ready for use with little effort. The assembly of the rail extension is done in 15 minutes. The wheels should be fastened with relatively little adjustment effort. The folding mechanism is easy to operate and works flawlessly with my Passat station wagon. When folded, the carrier can be easily stowed in the trunk. The lighting worked right the first time. The frame construction of the carrier as well as the rails to make a strong impression, but the paint (because the frame is not made of aluminum, but only the rail) and all plastic components appear to be rather low quality. When driving with 4 wheels (2 adults and 2 children's bikes) you realize the movement of the wearer significantly. The "wheel package" is moving in total, although complying with the rules on the burden. Closing the Aufsetzbügels is only possible with high pressure, because otherwise it can not lock. In order to use the carrier noise-free, I had to set very firmly the side bracket terminals. When closing these terminals, you have to worry about breaking off the terminals. The headband for the wheels are ok but here it is not possible this example. to fix in a horizontal position in order, for example. the next set up bicycle without holding a second hand in position. In addition, they wiggle sideways. The straps are suitable and in addition to the usual aluminum, carbon steel frame and metal reinforced. In frame holding Riehmen open, however, the rubber protectors fall down easily. The ratchets to fix the wheels and the frame work but again I would have expected more quality. Conclusion: Since I bought the vehicle for lack of time on the Internet, without having first seen him in the store and comparing that time must now show as he proves himself. The price is cheaper than competing products; especially with the additional equipment. My recommendation is him against carriers of other manufacturers in handling and quality in the store "live" to face; or so early to buy it in order to possibly complain about it again.
