The camera itself makes a good impression. The stand is stable and non-slip rubber grips. Thanks to joint the camera is tilt and swivel. Even on a long power cable has not saved. The construction is so weak, the fast times solves the heavy camera with a light touch from the holder. So I would prefer to use the camera with pedestal. The camera is not for privacy fanatics. The entire video stream lands on SpotCam cloud servers. Although gschützt from outside access, but a hacker attack is likely to be sufficient and the data is gone. So you should think about what you want to "monitor" with this camera. The image quality of the camera is OK. But in general the image quality suffers with quick movements in the image by a fairly low bitrate, so as to form artifacts. The camera is therefore truly for monitoring and less for webcam sessions suited to the Relatives. Convinced ;-) me the night vision function. Even with very little residual light that Cam delivers even need Baare images. It should be noted that the camera with a good 5-second delay output your image.
