The memory of 16GB is enough for probably 95% of Anwednungsfälle and if not, it can be expanded using microSD card to another 32GB - very laudable that should make all manufacturers so (especially the Nexus devices!)! A pleasant side effect: you have a smartphone with a microSD slot, large amounts of data can be easily exchanged between countries devices (I am thinking for example of Urlaubsvideos- and photos).
The built-in camera does the job - although it should be clear that cameras are installed only more reason to Tabs, because everyone does it ... me is the cam for example in the smartphone more important.
The sound ... well, ansich quite good, so good you can just expect it from the tiny sound Quetschern which are installed in such devices. What bothers me, however, the arrangement: both (ie the L- and R-channel) are attached to the unit "below" as a result, when you turn the device to landscape mode (in this mode, you look usually movies), are then both channels right - which is suboptimal and for me the only real gripe with this unit. This is for example dissolved in 10.1 better.
Handling: excellent! Thanks to the thinness of about 8 mm and the light weight (300g good) and the design of the housing (left and right margins thin, slightly thicker upper and lower) can grow the Tab super even with one hand and operate - particularly books can be read just fine (I met only two devices on which one can read books even better, belonging but a completely different class of devices: Kindle and Kobo, or EBOOKREADER general).
Hardware buttons: have their advantages, in tablets also slight drawbacks. Basically, the 3 hardware buttons (home, back and menu) on the surface of the tabs is a good idea - I've already gotten used to it, because I also use smartphones with these buttons - as they are always found in the same place and in addition no waste line from the screen. In landscape mode, the 3 buttons are then right, so some users may not be quite right to come.
Performance: more than sufficient. Everything runs smoothly, looks good and it's fun in order to "work". I also have a couple of games tested and all ran very well. For the purpose for which the Tab is intended, the dual-core 1.5GHz ranges from absolute.
Duration: up to now I have always come loose over one day, even if part of intensive use. Probably we will have to charge the device every 2-3 days.
Conclusion: the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Although does not offer much new, who can but on the Stylus touch-family (along with Digitizer) dispense, is better served with this slightly cheaper device, especially since it is also lighter and thinner). Those looking for an 8-inch Tab, which worked perfectly, is well served with this unit. Only the arrangement of the speakers and the somewhat hefty price (for these facilities) are negative to be highlighted. Nevertheless I forgive 5 * star, because it's fun to take the unit into their own hands and thus to consume media - apart from certain it is one of the Top 3 in its class.
