Here we have a camera (a cheap) that manage knows what your box, but especially the fact and better.
There are other cheaper routers that also do very well the job (eg Netgear N900.) But there was a little more for wireless broadband.
I do not go into numbers battles because in any case it depends greatly your initial flow rate, but also your home network configuration.
Namely that the wi-fi behaves differently depending on the structure of your living space.
Reinforced concrete, stone, wood etc. change the quality of transmission and reception of wi-fi.
Linksys has made a big effort on this unit for the wi-fi.
I'm still a bit chilly for the wi-fi (not only in terms of safety) because the speed was never excellent.
However compared to my box is incommensurate!
The connection (I'm apparently - all reinforced concrete everywhere ...) is very good, regardless of location.
And excellent flow.
Management is quite simple, we pass by the browser and all parameters are managed (DMZ, Guest mode, firewall, FTP etc.)
Well to be honest it is not within the reach of anybody especially when one is not accustomed computer networks, but otherwise it's just happiness.
It offers the same features as other routers on the network management.
I recommend disabling the router function of his box to fully exploit the Linksys.
He has several Ethernet ports / usb (which in 3.0), nothing special at this level is enough to install a universal computer / NAS etc.
I have a small regret: the relatively limited number of Ethernet ports, only 4. But given the wi-fi quality it can compensate.
