This wall lamp is solid processed and made of weather-resistant materials (plastic, aluminum).
The installation is very simple:
And remove the shell with two screws. Kunstoffkorpus with two screws (not supplied) mounted on the wall and note that it is not too far opens the space provided punched, because the plastic breaks out otherwise too large in area. Then it's only with washers.
Electrical connecting cable (two-core) with terminal block. Then put the upper part again and tighten the two screws. Done.
The accompanying energy saving lamp (12Watt / warm white) is of limited use if you combine the light with a motion detector, because the lamp 30 seconds to reach full brightness, ie the full light output is not immediately available.
I therefore use an Osram LED with 12 watts.
But beware: Many LED lamps (E27) are too long for the body! A Lamp length of 11.5 cm is absolute Maximun. Only measure before you buy.
Conventional bulbs with dichroic mirror are only conditionally, because the allowable max. Performance according to Philips is 12 watts.
Since the lamp sits very close to the plastic, I am afraid that more lights are too hot and it quickly to dark discolorations (burn-in) will come on the plastic.
