GPS function is sluggish

For those who believe it is important for purchasing this camera:
The GPS function is loud ServicePoint "systemic sluggish and can not be changed". I had the camera in comparison with a pocket camera that also had GPS function in use. No comparison: The pocket had already calculated the position for seconds, while I search the position ended when Nikon after several attempts without result.
In the expensive technology can save the additional costs for GPS. The manufacturer should provide a firmware update available.
The other functions of the camera I do not even vote, There are plenty of reviews.
The camera certainly deserves more points, but for me there is only 3 points, for this significant defect.

After consultation with the Nikon customer service, the software that controls the GPS operation, in my opinion the problem is. The standby function of the camera stops the search operation of the satellite, when no data has been found. Even once received data is not saved, so each time picture search begins anew.
Conclusion: The GPS function should be revised. Other manufacturers can do better.
