A US blaster enlisted by the Communists to blow a bridge during the Spanish Civil War. It is found in caves in the mountains with the guerrillas. 500 pages for a story that lasts 3 days (with flashbacks). Partly driven by his story it seems, because he fought against Franco's Spain during the war. A story that mixes love and politics in a sublime way.
