Grandiose tactical game for long game nights ...

Rarely will you find a match, which is so much a matter of tactical gimmicks like here. Luck plays basically not matter and just about everything can be planned: even partially, the features of the opponents. How comes that ?! This is the really stunning play system that does completely without dice. Instead, is played with power and action cards.

By play:
Each player takes a maximum of five sovereigns (grandees) and tried to win the game progresses by expanding its power and influence areas in the regions of medieval Spain as many VPs. The condition for the end of the game is always the same: after the end of the ninth round and the subsequent completion of rating the game is over. The winner is, who will win; ie the most victory points has snatched. Those who wish can also enter into the game after the sixth round; even an ultra-short game with only three rounds is feasible because the game takes place in three repetitive cycles. These consist of three rounds and a complete evaluation of all regions after the third round. Then again three laps and a score and finally again the same.

The order in which the players make their moves, is determined by the playing of the power cards. Where: who had played the lowest power card in the previous round, must now play its first. Each player has the same number of power cards with the same values ​​(1-13), but each card may only be used once. Whoever plays the highest card power, must play one of the five face-up action cards first; the second highest power card next, etc. One must therefore demonstrate its power sent cards to get the desired action cards. The action cards from the five stacks are always new uncovered from lap to lap at the beginning (only the map of the fifth stack is always the same: the so-called 'King Card') and may be viewed prior to playing the power cards of all players. Depending on the utility of action cards (eg special ratings of certain regions) for the player, one (any particular card you really want to have !!) must now his power card as high or low (not the action cards says a really, or you want the next train play necessarily be the first one power card) play.

Player with the most Caballeros in one of Spain's regions, gets the most points in the event of a vote. These are determined at the beginning of the game randomly by drawing region maps, but can change during the course of the game (by action cards, such as the King card).
This all sounds very complicated at the beginning, but takes place after one or two games very fast. Slightly longer can even later selecting the corresponding action card for their own train take, because there has to consider what a most brings or the other most harm. Overall the game are a lot of wooden figures in that of small colored cubes (= Caballeros), larger cubes in five colors (= grandees) and a large (and I mean great !!) made black king figure. Plus, there's 13 power cards each player, as well as various action cards. Unfortunately, however, the board is not provided with relevant subjects so that you first have to laboriously sort all wooden tiles and cards before every game. This is a fact that there are, unfortunately, to complain about at all older games of 'Hans in Luck'.

Conclusion:
Class game with an unworthy packaging that it pretty difficult sämtliches game material together.
