Louvrage is not really art, it is rather a synthetic aspect, when explaining why and how to implement a strategy related to Big Data.
It is emphasized that the hub is the data, and its exploitation: it is not as massing its structuring, and appropriate access needs is important. Furthermore, the author also highlights that this data in its production as in its operation, is intrinsically linked to lhumain.
After an explanatory section on this quest so big data, what it covers, the author tries to convince us of its usefulness. Then of its operations within dune business, how it can interfere in its life cycle: big data requires tools, concepts, computer and a strategy is that of the (future) time.
Therefore cutting reading different chapters that can after all be read out of order:
- Using big data in key industries and functions
- Establishment of a strategy big data
- The human factor
- Related Technologies (hadoop, MapReduce)
- Big picture of business needs in order to succeed with the model BigData
- Two final chapters targeting types dentreprises and Big Data approach
The book is punctuated with references to well-known companies in this market, supporting the linking of model building and awareness of the potential and the management of the latter.
The sétale reading of 218 pages, easy to read, clear and precise enough to who does not know of any big data.
This is not sent to the computer, even sil should be read by them.
This can be a good starting document for enterprise leader, a marketing director, a sales manager, etc. to:
-take knowledge and awareness of this quest big data
- Bring enough of a varnish to start thinking of its integration into their own business / structure / strategy.
This book is not enough in itself, it should be in my opinion supplemented by the other author of books (which he dailleurs reference), but it should to know this new "trend" and mature reflection or simply develop .
In this sense, a chapter is intended for this purpose.
In the end, this is an interesting book to read by anyone wanting either extend his culture or by those with a goal on the theme, without knowing where laborder.
