After almost 8 years with the Logitech X-230 (~ 50) I allowed myself a new 2.1 sound system.
They chose to compare different systems and read some reviews on the Edifier C3.
The first impression:
What is immediately noticed when unpacking: The really excellent workmanship!
Construction, cabling, etc. everything with no problems.
When listening to music with little volume (Volume 20) is the difference with the Logitech X-230, not so great.
Only the bass seems to me better / more specific.
However, if you slightly turning up the volume further notice immediately the "size" of the Edifier C3.
The music comes with a lot more wealth and sound over as the Logitech X-230. The bass remains accurate and not booming like the Logitech X-230.
>>> Source Music: Realtek onboard sound chip, .mp3 (320 kbit / s) or .flac (> 800 kbit / s) files
Quick info for low electricity consumption:
>>> Idling (Volume 25): 10.2 Watt
>>> With Music (Volume 25): 10.8 Watt
>>> Mute (unfortunately more stand-by is not): 5.2 Watt
>>> Power off (switch amplifier): 0.0 Watt
Unfortunately, I have no means of comparison in the same price range (~ 150 Euro).
The Edifier C3 for me but after the first impression, and because of the good processing the right choice. For me, the price / performance ratio. Remains to be seen whether, as the Logitech X-230, 8 years endures;)
Conclusion: Nice and user-friendly 2.1 sound system with many options and a great sound - even at high Laustärken!
