This system is reduced to the essentials and offers - considering their size an excellent sound, the (more on) can be changed even within certain limits. I have the plant but really only one reason I wanted to buy native Bluetooth and although having to tinker in good quality and no extra receiver down. Also CD, USB, MP3, Analog-In (here on the back about 3.5 jack) and an RDS radio tuner with FM and DAB + there should be very important and also a headphone output. Has it all.
The system is so to speak a really small reception miracle.
Internet Radio I do not need to explicitly that I do on my Android tablet and Bluetooth, for there I have my music much better under control and also any Internet radio station stream wirelessly via Bluetooth.
Bluetooth works great in excellent quality, the built-in receiver is very high. Once pairing and made each of my devices is detected again at any time.
I live in a typical Berlin building with very solid walls. The tablet and mobile, I can go loose several meters away and despite the wall nothing falters. It was not until about 7 meters and 3 thick walls come first misfire.
However, this also depends on something related to the quality of the transmitter. An ancient cheap Bluetooth Stick on notebook had dropouts at about 2 meters with no wall between them but this clearly can not be guilty of the receiver in the system.
DAB + is working fine and radio in general also.
The CD is pleasantly quiet, makes no noise in the drive.
MP3 are clean from the USB port and also played wiederspruchlos of CD.
MP3 tracks can be spooled, tracks or MP3 tags and album names are displayed (very good!), However the selection is a test of patience, but more on that later.
The sound can be changed within certain limits over several features.
Firstly, the bass would boost what yet again some may tickle out when sources with little bass. The boxes roar but then easily if it gets too much.
Furthermore, since unfortunately no mechanical tone controls be installed, you can on the EQ function of both bass and treble between 4 levels (-4, -3, -2, -1, 0, +1, +2, +3 , +4) differentiate. After all, this works very well and is adequate for my needs.
In this respect, ringing or not rattle the speakers and tend except when too much bass and not to oversteer. The sound is pretty warm, which I find very pleasant.
Another great feature is NFC my phone has it, but I had so far found no application.
Works with the installation as follows:
Laying phone with enabled NFC on the plant -
- If never Bluetooth pairing had occurred with the device, is asked whether pairing should be performed can be performed
- If Bluetooth is activated directly at the mobile intervention (if not done previously) and the phone connects to the system easily
Sauber, I put only briefly the phone on the system and as soon as the stream running I take it away again.
Single and something annoying shortcoming:
No number keys on the remote control (see my attached photo).
This makes the light-off of a track on a CD or a USB flash drive to the ordeal. The selection of preset stations can unfortunately only be achieved by jumping, which is out of date and brings ultimately the point deduction. Folders with 1,000 songs or more you should then be better via Bluetooth streaming for MP3 does it simply not or you have the time to individually cumbersome shimmy through the folder structure ...
Conclusion:
Nevertheless, a very successful micro system with good sound and very good facilities.
With few limitations I can highly recommend this micro system price and performance are here very convincingly.
