The tripod on the shoulder a circular level, which is quite small, yet allows a rough alignment of the tripod in the balance. The tripod legs can be snap into 3 positions. The mechanism locks tired and is also easy to operate. Compared to the Manfrotto monopod my closures that act when Cullmann bit easier. But I can not say anything about the durability. Cullmann granted beyond 10-year warranty. Since so nothing burns on.
The tripod is comparatively high to the shoulder, so I have hardly off the center column (1.76). The tripod has so much air upward.
I use the tripod with a Manfrotto 496RC2 Ball Head. Since I already have a Manfrotto monopod head at me the same removable disk was important. When mounting the ball head should have previously read the manual. At Cullmann Magnesite the head is not screwed on. Rather, the screw of the tripod is first unscrewed and screwed into the tripod head. Thereafter, the head is inserted and fixed in the stand side by a screw. The whole is really fast and the head is firmly seated on the tripod.
The tripod is especially considering the price worth a recommendation.
