Great album of Colombian whirlwind!

"Dónde estan los Ladrones", although I myself do not speak Spanish, my favorite album of Shakira Mebarak. The very first song "Ciega, sordomuda" gives one the impression of being on a village festival in Mexico. So good is the mood in this piece supported with trumpets. Then it's the same very rocky continue with "Si te vas", only to reassure us with the salsa-esque mid-tempo track "Mosca en la casa" something. Other highlights of the album are the beautiful ballad "Inevitable" and "Tú" and Shakira's mega hit "Ojos asi" and the groovy "Que vuelvas". Shakira has written all the songs on the album and sings them accordingly with plenty of feel and power. Anyway, the musician is in their mother tongue still intoxicating and wilder as we know it from her English album "Laundry Service". This album is really here - "Spanish-rock at it's best!"
