Even the third attempt by "Coco" and "Breakthrough" Colbie Caillat can convince.
The songs still sound just as carefree, loose flaky relaxed and still exude this positive spirit of summer fun feeling.
Nevertheless, the album is musically something set. The melodies take time to anchor themselves in the ear. Is this hurdle done, you have a CD full of earwigs in his hands.
Musically, it is again used for handmade works. Guitar, piano, drum sounds beautiful which can produce a kind of Hawaiian sound, which ultimately underlines the perfect summer holiday and Soundtrack. New are eg. Rap elements in the title "Favorite Song". Here one must say that the rap part of Common's not really succeeded. It acts unflüssig and does not quite fit with the rest of the design songs.
Miss Caillat is content matured, it reflects itself, all that what they experienced and this still can bring to such a common denominator, that it does not become boring for the listener. You find yourself in one or the other way again.
Especially vocally striking that it meets both the high notes clean and can also convey deepest sounds terrific.
If you like fresh summer music which nevertheless transported content with which one can identify with, then you are with "all of you" very good advice.
Only I have to criticize the lean season of 43 minutes from ... this is me, at least clearly not enough to be scolded for a CD album. "Breakthrough" in the Deluxe Edition was for example. brim and it crowd suspected that here soon (like the debut "Coco") is a re-edition is offered that contains more songs that I would find then a bit unfortunate if there were so.
Nevertheless, the extraordinary quality of the songs justify a purchase in any case.
Songs like "Before I Let You Go", "Favorite Song" or the album title track giving "all of you" are simply hammer songs.
