Except that, as marked on the box, this phone is only for the analog network French! This justifies the user manual (very comprehensive) is in French. In fact the box sold by Amazon.com is only for France, sold by the box Amazon.de is only for Germany, etc .....
Why do I say this? because services such as the display of caller's number (for example) are factory set for France and does not work in Germany, Luxembourg or any other country. (Each country having its own protocol variance). Factory set and not user-modifiable (confirmed by Siemens I got the phone). I can therefore return the phone; Amazon repaid me (what service), and I was buying it (the same) to 30 euros more expensive in my store Hifi / Video corner. This is exactly the same phone, box, packaging; but in my own country; displaying the number of the caller works great.
I would have put 5 stars, but the fact that this important detail is not mentioned in the product description makes me remove one. (Amazon.com ship their products in several francophone countries with a different standard, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Belgium, ...., this important point should be mentioned in Red). My previous 2 DECT phones (both Philips) were also purchased in France, and both are parameterizable for services of all European countries, have always displayed the two cough number of the caller without problems).
