Great cars and good graphics, otherwise the purest trash !!!!

I've been a big Underground Need for Speed ​​fan and have played through all parts ever since. When I heard of NFS Carbon I wanted to play this part and was a bit disappointed after a total of 12 hours of play.

The game itself is based on a great basic story. The hero of Most Wanted returns to a city where he allegedly betrayed a race to the cops.

The city is divided into 4 large areas (see the map in any case like this) and 4 different crews dominate the city.

Now one should conquer as a player all the districts one by one and when you won almost all the races in a Bezrik, urges the respective "Boss" one out to two races: The first is held in the city and the second in the canyon.

If at first glance everything was great, but there are only a total of 64 races and all are very very simple, even the acclaimed Canyon races are spectacular!

For comparison to Underground or Most Wanted anyone can win this race on the first try, because you from the very beginning has a very good car and there is no traffic more at the races.

The graphics of the game is great, finally night race. The cars are also amazing, best to start with a tuner car to. Bad thing is that you have to buy a new car after a certain time when one of the old man gets no more tuning parts and that's too bad.

Furthermore, I was looking forward for the drift race because I had missed this in the predecessor, but they are not well managed. It actually does not depend on the drift itself on, but only how fast you drive into the corner and that's too bad.

Another shortcoming is the few cutscenes. One learns only marginally what actually happened back then at the manipulated race. The funny thing is also that Cross is in the city and to the absence of explanation, just as Darius who is actually and how do you know the city otherwise.

The Steurung is the same as with the other NFS games, only the one at almost every race a crew member has this and can activate its abilities or not. Here there is another problem, as the own crew members an obstructing the race. This just stay for no reason in a curve are cross and you have to stop or they show an example, alleged abbreviations. You drive much faster without the Abkürzugen.

A joke at NFS Carbon is the behavior of the police. I was just followed in 5 races, although in de race most wanted level 4 was! The police can be shaken off easily innerhlab 1-2 minutes.

Thus, the game is lost and even more so by the few races that are still far too easy to do so.

The only race in which I had a problem, was the Canyon races against Darius, because he drives an Audi Le Mans Quattro and this fits perfectly in the corners.

A plus for the game, the beautiful city, which has everything from a high-rise jungle, a huge industrial area up to the mock Vegas to offer everything.

I can recommend you this game only conditionally, because the price is simply too high for as little race!

I hope that the successor will be exciting again and above all offers more races!

The 2 star gets the game only because of good graphics and great cars, otherwise it would not deserve a single star!
