Previously I had a capsule machine (also Krups) and was always very happy. But decided for reasons of cost, to buy a fully automatic machine. When the capsule machine costs were approximately 0.33 euros. With this fully automatic machines they are about EUR 0.07 - EUR 0.08. Hence, the requirement: A machine that can prepare fresh coffee / grind / brew and cheaper than the capsule machine. Certainly not the highest requirement)
After much research I chose this machine because I had to get here the best price-performance ratio feeling. The machine is easy to install. Water hardness test made just looked in the manual and you ran out of the first Cafe Crema. One should prepare 1- 2 coffee before you make the first, intended for drinking coffee. The coffee itself tasted very good. You can adjust how hot should be the coffee (3 levels) and also also the freeness define (also 3 stages). That alone is enough to set the coffee for yourself personally. Have until now 150 coffee cycles on the clock, and so far no problems. Volume and preparation time I find absolutely fine and the "hot-water feature" makes its successful service for a quick tea between meals. The cappuccino was also set at the machine while (although this is not standard), but I have not yet tested.
What is the highlight for me?
I especially like the LCD display. Operation is intuitive and very easy. This selects the next beverage selection also the maintenance menu to clean or rinse the machine. Moreover, one can see there some product information, such. As the number of coffee cycles. I would therefore never want to give back to an LCD display.
What is negative?
I find it a pity that Krups has replaced the aluminum knob against a silver plastic button. Moreover, it is all the more annoying that all dealers are still on the road with the old product photos. The plastic button works but good and seems more neutral to me (not really nice, but not really ugly). Since the dealer has reimbursed me for this 60 euros (great service), this point is for me no longer a big deal. Otherwise, I could not find anything negative.
