"Salsa, Tango & Latin for a perfect evening" - as it says on the cover of the CD, and for the most part that is true, in fact I would give 5 stars purely for the music. Nevertheless, it is somewhere "misnomer": love editors, I have the album now about 10 times belongs (because it really is a nice compilation for the way-listening!), But also at the 10th hearing, I find not a single Tango it! And what Miriam Makeba's "Pata Pata" on a sampler, which otherwise only deals with Latin music, has to me sometimes one explain - after all, there is a South African title and has only due to the used percussion at best a touch of world music but it's just not a Latin! For these errors in the compilation so 1 star deduction - another there for the unfortunate in some cases selection: Grade of Santana there are plenty of songs that not only have more Latin terms, but would be suitable also much better than cocktail music as just that but very hip-hop-heavy "Maria Maria" (with Shakira and Gloria Estefan has indeed works, there titles were selected that fit really super into the concept), and the title of "Oye Como Va" by Celia Cruz was a extre disco beat-remixed version back gefriffen (Amazon MP3 called the Trance Mix), the times really destroys the mood of the sampler ---- why here not much more appropriate album version was taken, is beyond me, especially since Attention is drawn not on the CD sleeve even in the inlay on the remix. Still I hear the CD always happy, sometimes as background music, sometimes in the car, because apart from the smaller slip to stock selection, I like the direction very well.
