The product is still very shaky. Does not look to far, it flies out of the local wireless (home network) after a few minutes. And switches back automatically to the hotspot mode (tested with Linksys router and Fritzbox). This sucks, do not want to configure the device every time before I even briefly through TV zappe program. The settings of the device are in fact at that very shaky (via iPad2 and iPhone4S tested). You click a change, back, not taken back to the menu. Great, another try. Not again. Third time. Ah now. And with each use, to hang it back first into the home network? Nope, not my thing. Then wanted to test times as the sleep timer to "Never" turn to test if it remains stable in the home network. But: a) you have to do that even 10 times until it is once accepted and b) it also helps nothing. I have in later testing the impression that you have to wait very long in the sub menu until the Tivizen the change has even processed. Then you can see the change, if one goes in again. But can better visualize and underscores my impression of immature product.
Another iOS5 bug: It took me hours before I have noticed that the wireless is never "finished connected" to the hotspot. Hab accepted, "so there is no wireless connection between iPad and Tivizen". Wrong! Do not be irritated, the connection is still, although the iOS still the "Spinner" and indicates the top of the status bar is not a wireless symbol. Even so instability.
Did not have a DVB-T experience, but it made a good impression. Tuning less found a minute and 29 stations with "quite stable" image. ZDF was missing, otherwise probably fairly complete free TV standard offer. Recording I've ever tasted, also good, but no way seen me the shots now ever find out from the iPad (eg via PC to external drive or so). But have then also canceled due to "going back anyway."
Again, a pity! Maybe I'll buy that. Again in some time and look, if the good concept has now been converted into a good product Now I have only once, as an alternative to Broadway 2T by PCTV ordered.
A correction of the previous reviewers: Someone claiming that thing goes only to a fixed wireless channel, and if the line is busy, nothing goes. This is nonsense. Have looked with SSIDer, machine selects the start time to time another channel (7 or 8 in my case), whichever fits just better.
Small criticism of the otherwise always impeccable Amazon shipping I'm here but still: This product was obviously not first delivery. The original seal of the package was broken, the box with a new sealed "Amazon tested quality" adhesives. So far, the test went well but not because the manual was missing, the device was covered in fingerprints and scratches even easier! And especially the Settings no longer / again at delivery. The unit always wanted a wireless password from me in hotspot mode. So I had to find initially inconvenient (without guide), how do I do a full reset (hold off and then immediately press the Reset button). No, no, not so great exception to the great service!
