When unpacking the linens we were enthusiastic at first, because the design looks really great and fits very well to set up our bedroom. Until that time, I would have forgiven all 5 reviewer's star.
Compared to our previously used seersucker sets the Krinkelmuster falls in this product of coarser and has also worked uneven. We hardly disturbs, but it falls flat on. In handle the fabric feels solid and is rough on the surface, as one is accustomed of linen. So not very cuddly and affectionate. My wife said it would change by tumble drying and prepared the sets before washing. When turning the covers showed then that inside hanging diverse uncut, sometimes longer sutures. Although this is not a serious shortage, but I know it anyway not so of other bedding products. At this point I prefer the first star from (4 stars mean yes still "Like").
After inserting into the washing machine, my wife presented the program - as always with our cotton sheets - at 60 °. Luckily she thought before starting the machine again to see it as a precautionary measure on the care label and was stunned that only 40 ° was shown there as a washing temperature. All other linens in our household can be washed at 60 ° (which is important for house dust allergy sufferers, since the allergy-causing mites are not killed at 40 ° wash temperature!). This serious limitation for me was not specified in the item description, which again means a star deduction.
After drying the fabric felt, unfortunately, hardly softer than before and the spread of the remuneration on the beds small interruptions of the color pattern were in some places to see that we had not noticed before. Whether the error in the printing of the substance have arisen or whether it concerns flaw I can not judge.
The lt. Label in Poland manufactured product is actually not tested according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 for harmful substances. This is a little surprising because nowadays offered even at Ikea, Aldi or Lidl cheap bedding are Oeko-Tex 100 certified. Given the healthy substances of concern, unfortunately, still used in the textile industry (for example, formaldehyde, hydrogen peroxide, caustic soda, ammonia or halogenated organic compounds) you as a consumer should - especially as allergies! - Emphasis on the Oeko-Tex seal "Confidence in Textiles" eighth. I have failed before buying to ask what I regret now.
Unfortunately, I must, ultimately, the third star emphasize because these linens quite disappointed us ... :-(
