Clear the Nespresso make good coffee u. Great espresso, but Nestle Gran Cru coffee can be his already outweigh almost in precious metals. (1 kg Nespresso coffee about 60-70.- depending on the variety)
Have the Krups EA8260 u for 349.- bought incl. P. A small sample pack Coffee Crema beans :-)
In the purchase price the machine pays off within a relatively short time.
But now the machine itself :-)
After unpacking and choosing the basic settings that are incidentally performed quite easy via the display in the simply structured menu and after screwing the enclosed water filter (optional), and the filling of water and coffee beans, the first cup may be brewed :-)
The first heating of the machine less than a minute, then select the desired beverage (espresso, strong espresso, coffee, double coffee) Conn. The radio button press u. Already begins to run the mill (the mill is v. Sound ok or comparable other incineration plants which I have heard, certainly there leiserere grinders but it's only a few seconds, therefore no problem for me.
After grinding, the coffee is briefly vorgebrüht-> moistened (better flavor development), after which the coffee starts from the spout into the cup to trickle :-)
Immediately after the start of the milling process and pressing the Option key, the previously set amount of recently introduced point value the last selection (drink is displayed in milliliters u. Can then be adapted still up or down, u. U. The amount in ml . or time in sec., for example, the steam) is then also when restarting or when selected again saved, this is the way for all drinks and programs like this.
Double-click on OK, a double cycle can (2x grind u. 2x broths) are started to get the same 2 drinks in itself amount u. Thickness, this function is possible in all beverages except when selecting "Double Coffee"

After completion of the coffee outlet, the display will show a ready message, Conn. If the output of the coffee marc, this is a fairly clear "Plop" listen u. It rises some steam on top in the cup warmer.
My first impression regarding. The taste of the available drinks is surprisingly positive and can safely be individualized according to still depending on the selection u. Quality of the beans, grind u. Of the amount of water.
Drinks are perfect hot already at medium temperature range!
The separate "Cappuccinatore" has not yet been tested, but the conventional frothing the milk directly to the steam nozzle - which worked fine, and the result was totally OK - at least for me!
Obviously Krups has o to criticism. The defect that may the label of the rotary knob can be solved by the action of water vapor reacts and provides the machine about since Q4 2013 with a one-piece rotary knob without label from :-)
The fact that in the Krups EA82XX models the brewing unit can not be removed, the machine inside (brewing) was for me besides the compactness with buying decision and I trust times that u with the cleaning slide. The optimized Krups Cleaning program incl. The cleaning staff, not dirty or scruffy (in Jura etc. It works so well, who also built a solid group head)
Incineration plants with a fixed brewing rinse well systemic more or divorce also when brewing some water now and it must therefore often be emptied the lower drip tray, but this is certainly useful, so that the machine remains in the interior clean and always fresh water in the pipes is ,
The Krups asks the way when you turn whether a purge is to be performed or not, or whether the container or the drip tray should be emptied or was so so be trouble times a deselection or shift possible.
What I like:

What I like less:
> The only max. about 105 mm high spout (eg for large glasses latte M. not fit under it) but that's probably the price for the compact design of the machine.
> Display briefly fogged v. Rising steam during the coffee spout
> The scope of the steam nozzle could be a bit bigger.
> The cover of the bean container should aroma tightly closed (earlier models had here is a continuous rubber seal)
> Hose of Cappuccinatore could be for better variability longer
> No time table can be programmed (eg on weekends other times)
- >>> All in all, nothing dramatic!
If the coffee machine in the coming months / years make no mosquitoes and turn out the automatic cleaning to be effective, so the Krups EA8260 was a good choice from the Premium model :-)
Overall, I am after the first days of use absolutely satisfied with the device and would recommend the machine in good conscience.

The models EA8260 and EA826E not differ on demand at Krups!
