For the connection between NAS and iMac I wanted to put on a Gigabit connection. So far I have always set to Netgear products, but as we work on with some Gigabit switches but had problems (machine cut all connections when another device is plugged in or device went online), I opted for this device. The speed is top and the exchange of data between iMac and NAS is super fast. But what bothers me a little, and why I deducted a star is that you can not mount the unit on the wall. For this purpose the corresponding holes in the housing are missing. I would very much like the device attached to the wall, like all my other devices in order to get a little order in the tangle of cables, for me it is a bit annoying that I have to put the switch in the cable channel.
