Great Genesis Alumni compilation ... with a few flaws.

The compilation itself I think is not so bad. What would have still had to because of it? "Sledgehammer", "Shock The Monkey", or what else? The compilation of Genesis tracks succeeded. "The Knife", "Musical Box", "Supper's Ready", "Cimena Show" ... all there! And frankly, I find the choice of a solo artist not so bad. Peter Gabriel's "Signal to Noise" or Phil Collins' "Wake Up Call" - is something else. Maybe Mike Ruherford could have been a little less on the safe side, and possibly would have Tony Banks imaginative can select. I do not want to go into the Anthony Phillips discussion here ...

But Sauer pushed me is already an indication of Amazon that the compilation contains some live recordings. That's for those of Genesis & Co. already has everything a Kaufanreuz par excellence. Initially "Cinema Show" and "I Know What I Like" were reported as live version, later still, after all "for a while" (Banks) and "Siren" (also Banks). However Icvh can detect no difference to the studio versions. That's annoying. That R-Kive is primarily intended for Genesis-new discoverers, has arrived for me too. But that given that there is apparently unheard material on the compilation, is simply outrageous.

I like the CD compilation. Because I'm a fan of Genesis and also the most solo stuff in high esteem. But feel ripped off as a buyer of this CD. Not least because simply incorrect title information.
