Great graphics, very unusual control, unrealistic driving behavior (stuff), mediocre AI

I had bought NFSHP before I knew this part largely by Criterion, the makers of Burnout: Paradise - has been developed The Ultimate Box. Accordingly great was my rather negative surprise at the relatively new driving engine, but just as I was pleased about the grandiose and absolutely contemporary graphics.

Here are a few pros and cons that I noticed:

Graphics and sound: The hardware I use besides the PS3 a Samsung PS50C6970 127 cm (50 inches) 3D Plasma TV (Full HD, DVB-T / -C / -S2) black for Samsung HT-C6930 and image W 7.1 3D Blu-ray home theater system (3D, Full HD, DivX, 1330 Watt) pearl black for the tone. And I must say: In both NFSHP is virtually flawless, partly almost photorealistic. The cars incl. Any damages landscapes, the roar of the engines, really great!

Around the game world: Not bad. At first glance, I found the game world a bit small but (as I have heard) on the 200 kilometers of track, everything is somehow covered. Fast roads, winding mountain passes, coastal and forest. Much more distance would not be necessary because it is recommended that the way to know as precisely as possible, since not every backroad is also simultaneously an abbreviation and not every short cut, simultaneously brings difficult due to obstructions umfahrende a faster time with them.

Cars: From the beginning, you get quite cool and fast cars, both as a racer and as an Officer. The one must not buy, but which are just there. Depending on the game progress, more and more cars will be unlocked. Most cars are available in "normal" as well as in police version.

Pursuit: simply cool. As a police officer, it is depending on race mode does not necessarily indicate the time, but primarily on stopping as many speeders. There are several possibilities. No offline Mehspielermodus: In other NFS games could compete against each other on the couch in the Split Screen. Is there not here - too bad.

Unusual driving engine: So you simply will not drive. In reality, it is simply the fastest, if you drive the racing line specifically and without breaking. In NFSHP you have to, and I would claim that this is due to Criterion, as much as possible even in drifting burnout. Is the one not so easy, on the other hand makes it easy for me little sense. As nice as the realistic graphics is so unrealistic, I feel the driving behavior in this engine. I thought, I get used to it already, but I do anyway.

Nitro charges in riskier driving faster: Even the annoying. Why the Nitro in oncoming traffic and when drifting should be recharged more quickly? I do not get, I do not find good and is not fun.

A few boring racing events are: For example, the time trial of the police. The aim here is to arrive as quickly as possible and with a cure possible car in the field. There's simply no action in it. It could best be compared with Checkpoint or tollbooths race from NFS Undercover or MFS Most Wanted it mE, with me they have made a lot more fun.

No manual Speedbreaker: While there is a kind of Speedbreaker. For example, if you play the police and a speeder hits a nail strip. Bottom line, the game is ok. Who can make friends with the strange engine and the relatively high degree of difficulty, will probably feel in good hands here. Personally, I had / have while playing but not as much fun as in Need for Speed: Undercover, what not so well received by the majority of NFS fans, or Need for Speed: Most Wanted or Need For Speed: Underground.
