Great Halma variant

Here, however, this conversion takes some peculiarities with itself:

-> First, each field of a color is assigned. Will I cultivate it, I need a card of the same color. This I get by I expose and might breed cards.
-> Secondly, some key fields are on the board. Here each player can build a tower, provided it has the appropriate color card. These key fields can be any other players at any time, but here you have to at least make a card more than the other players did. This results in important fields to a true competition.
-> For the third I can not just drauflosbauen. I must instead connect at least two towers and give all the necessary color maps for this.

Compared to classic Halma is noticeable that there is a real competition for key fields in the middle. I have a more experienced that both players numerous maps victims to secure corresponding fields here. Since the towers are only safe when at least two are connected, the players proceed accordingly vigorously.
Also lucky element is increased. Subtracting the right colors cards, one connects its towers much faster. Nevertheless, the game will remain open until the end. Often a player was about to win and it was then but the road blocks.

Added to this is a variant in which each 2 games in two teams. This is the actual version but very similar. The game still is best suited for 2 players.

Beautiful is the possibility that the game is visually implemented quite appealing. Each player receives a chunk of "flames" that are placed on the game board moderately dark held. Ironically, in this game, with a low level of abstraction to a very high flair. I like that. The game material is made of (hard) plastic, the cards are exactly like the plan according to the latest.

In the overall picture I like the game very well. The refreshing Halma brings variant known, it repackages and adds great elements. Overlooking creative level and scope of the game material I find the current price of 30 Euro as something high but still forgive the five stars (which I do very rarely).
Rarely has so convinced me such a simple game concept. Clear recommendation.
