Bought for my 4 year old son: it was a huge moment of happiness! He jumped like a kid seeing the train go! The fact that the engine is driven is very popular (sometimes he wants to sleep with!) When you put gasoline it makes a noise "glug glug" that gladdens the ...

The big plus: it has a lot of Duplo so it's a nice extension of a world he knows well (gaming opportunities therefore are larger than a single train set)

Note: several weeks of daily use and battery loco show no sign of fatigue! (Unless we mean when we sound the "choo choo" at 7am on Sunday :-)
