I like Skullcandy headphones very much (for many years to take this brand) and I am also of the opinion that the sound for such a low price is absolutely acceptable. And who wants a bombastic-fantastic-stunning hi-fi sound, which may be just do not buy headphones for about 40, NE)
The design is super, I find the parts and have also comfortable as wearing glasses no problem that the headphones start after some time to press etc. ... And that is not the lack of "pressure", as the other reviewer said here. My sitting just super.
Sure, go jogging, they are now not necessarily appropriate, but these are in my opinion very few headphones that you have to put on over the head. ^^
Now the headphones are not yet perfect.
The foam layer which is located on the brackets is relatively sensitive. The top layer begins after only a few months to dissolve and then sometimes leave colorful crumbs on the head ... of course that is not so nice. Therefore, a minus point.
Another, much more essential for me minus point is that the keypad on the handset cord, contrary to most descriptions is NOT compatible / available for all iPods.
The main reason why I bought these headphones, was in fact actually, so I my iPod shuffle (whose control is cleverly attached to the headphones) also can operate without having to infect each time the Apple headphones. With disappointment I however had to conclude that the control on the Skullcandy keypad is exactly when this iPod is not possible. : /
So I would definitely not rely on the description, but if it is possible to test in front of purchase, if the device and headphones are compatible on this point.
In short:
+ Great design
+ Really good sound
+ Very convenient
- Foam layer begins after a relatively short time to dissolve
- Control panel is not compatible with all iPods
Ales in all, the price-performance ratio but really okay and I would always buy headphones from Skullcandy.
