Story:
Everyone knows the principle behind Pokemon. It even starts as a beginner a journey through a region and would like to be the Champ. For this one trains his monster. This altbewerte principle is of course also in Diamond / Pearl / Platinum otherwise why, then Pokemon halt and it works. So if in Pokemon seeks innovations in point story or game goal can search long. However, there is still a real substantive story about the legendary Pokemon pictured on the packaging. This story was not half bad, according to my taste but a bit exaggerated.

Graphics:
In terms of graphics has not done soo much compared to the 3rd generation. There are some minor new details in the landscape and the character itself, but other than me is not so much noticed. Positive to mention would be the weather, this is the first time variable and is presented beautifully. I like also that it is now different landscapes are (grass, swamp, snow, volcano ...), they are also well presented. One may of course expect any outstanding graphics, just to go on the DS and games on modules anyway, but the little retro charm knows how to please.

Sound:
The background music I like this part very much. There are many catchy and great titles (in various styles), and almost always they are also suitable for the situation. The typical old Gameboy sound is not very strong perceive here has on the complexity of the music done a lot. Here I have not the slightest fault.

Innovations:
- New Pokemon (+107)
- Global struggles (only on 3DS!)
-Touchsteuerung
- Poketch with important functions
- New attacks
- Underground (treasures dig)
Positive:
- Larger game world with a wide variety of environments
- Knurspe Baking has been improved
- Competitions
- Poké Radar
- Connection to the GBA editions
- Connection with Pokemon Battle Revolution (struggles against friends on your TV)
- Quite a lot of partner-trainer for double battles
- Generally good level of difficulty
- Virtually endless evolution stones and other expensive items
Neutral:
- After the main story is in addition to some new routes not much to do, you can then only the level up of your team, the breeding and the completion of the Pokedex contact (however, this is in all other parts and otherwise)
- It takes back special event items to get Event Pokemon and these can only be obtained through Nintendo events or cheats. This I find quite stupid, because 1 can not visit any such events, and 2. because it so easily does not ,, closed game; as a suggestion: you could still program the game so that you get the tickets through specific achievements in the game (my personal opinion)
Negatives:
- The normal coaches are often much weaker than oneself, one gets less EP and on top of that is quite boring
- Unfortunately the combat zone has been reduced only to the Battle Tower
- Gym Leaders can not be challenged again, and the top 4 will not be stronger in rematches, so you can train worse
Overall, I would highly recommend this game. It provides for both newcomers as well as veterans again many hours of gameplay. Although the fun expected to gradually subside by lack challenges to the main story, at least when a the side quests are not interested. Me anyway the smaller disadvantages have hardly disturbed, because I was able to tie the game all the 670 hours of the DS (for training, breeding, perfect card).
