Opposite the two Kitobjektiven it has better visual quality and is easily usable at f 4 over the entire focal length range.
In telephoto the picture is the softest, slightly less sharpness and crispness, but still very well usable. The definition is not great with open aperture, to 5.6 or 8, this is no longer a problem. Do not bother the poor edge sharpness particularly, I use the lens anyway at f 4 with very nice results.
The lens is fairly light and fits snugly to the Alpha 6000th
it bothers me:
The front cover also has interior handles, with which the lid can be removed when the lens hood is attached. These handles are very smooth and therefore they often slip of the fingers.
The focus and zoom ring have no scales, there is no information on the lens. In addition, both rings are very much like each other and can be quickly confused times.
There is no AF / MF switch on the lens, and also for the (good) image stabilizer there is no switch. Everything has to be set on the camera.
The zoom rocker on the side is nice for movies can be so nice and soft back, but I do without the films personally to zoom, so it would not be bad if the zoom button did not exist. You may be a fact in the way if you anfässt the lens with your left hand. At worst, they adjusted so that the focal length by mistake.
Conclusion: The image quality is very good, JPEGs from the camera (at least for the Alpha 6000) automatically corrected RAWs see something distorted, which can for example easily be corrected in Lightroom. The case makes a high impression, looks modern and classy aus.GeLi with it. Would I buy again.
