When the package has come first, I thought me skin's socks off .. have first believed, what Amazon has delivered incorrect because the package was so small! And I have not previously made me really familiar with the dimensions !!
But opened, fits .. everything was there! Device, FB, batteries, instruction manual.
I have connected it. Via normal antenna cable from the cable box for DVB-C and from the receiver to TV with HDMI
..suchen Settings and after 15 min. it had 104 stations found !!
By the way, I'm from Vienna (Austria) and have HOB as cable provider .. worked perfectly.
Image is very good. All TV channels automatically named. Sort I do not have it, do not need it.
Small settings like format to 16: 9 aspect ratio so that I always fit set.
And now the best ... yes it has a built-in video player. Div. Infected USB sticks (USB 2.o) ... played everything from (avi, mkv, mp4 ....) without Rückler.
Then 1TB hard drive 2.5 "without extra power supply (USB 3.0 hard drive) recognized immediately ... very quickly everything was imported. Next USB 3.0 hard drive with 750 GB the same .... detected all at once (without extra power supply, 2.5 "HD).
mkv files larger than 10GB will be played without any problems. Since most (or many) mkv files to DTS sound have, this is not output, you have to connect the receiver via an amplifier, so that you get the DTS sound. Normal 5.1 DD is output via HDMI to the TV without having to connect the audio amplifier.
One needs only a SPDIF digital cable from the receiver to connect to audio amplifier and the other HDMI directly to the TV so you have the option, as desired either sound can only be heard on TV (via HDMI) or digital via SPDIF cable for audio amplifier so 5.1 etc ...
If you connect directly to the HDMI audio video amplifier, you have every time the amplifier back on so the sound you have (in the evening rather inconvenient if you look just TV).
It is so compact that I can slide under my TV (Toshiba) to back it even on the level so optimally.
In sum great device, compact, very good picture + sound and works as a media player perfectly.
When connecting it via HDMI, as in my case, you have every time to switch to the HDMI output, logically not automatically detected (signal) is ... but does not disturb.
standby lights ... red light and the time is displayed.
Will buy another for the bedroom.
