But we have very quickly, which is the only major problem for me, noticed: though the milk hose and the whole milk cycle can theoretically be cleaned very easily, is almost always a little milk left where you least expect it: in the white container where the milk hose is connected. The point is that, where the milk comes out, the joints too far to go inside on the side (photos 3 and 4).
(In order to clean the milk circuit, you can just use the button milk with water instead of milk. However, the white milk-cycle container can be cleaned with water is also very easy.)
But you can practice all parts very easy to take out, disassemble, and do it in the dishwasher. Even a bottle of milk and its parts. But there is a built-in funnel, where the coffee goes through, which can not be so easily cleaned. Although the coffee is not directly run it, he will yet again dirty (photo 2).
A trifle, which is another probably not very much, is the drip tray. In the holes in the drip coffee, is white plastic fitted (photo 1) (!) - So that must always be cleaned when it should look clean. The hole for the milk hose is not separated from the drip tray so that if the drip tray with a little coffee is full, the tip of the tube is located in the coffee.
So it's not always a time-saving device.
The amount of the recipes can be adjusted. However, the "largest" adjustable flow rate (for recipes on the right side) only half a cup (eg Ikea).
What else could annoy: after each recipe / coffee, the device must "cook" the water again. That takes at least about 15-30 seconds.
Water Tank: is, as expected, small (only 1 liter), but the machine already requires on reaching the minimum water again. On one side it can never happen that in the middle of a recipe out of water - on the other, you realize that sometimes 1l is not much. Once you have then filled, you have to first again 30 sec. Wait for heating in order to make coffee can.
Tea: as it is written below, there are few tea pods. For classic tea bags: to get really hot water, the coffee recipes are (without pad) best - but it can also lead to a little coffee flavor. The milk recipes (with water instead of milk) only work when the water is already hot. To this end, a tea maker is vll. More appropriate.
Here are a few tips pod:
- Although there are not many coffee at Amazon, there are supermarkets like Kaufland Edeka and a wide selection
- Senseo are, strangely enough, not highly recommended
- Be careful when, for example, Senseo cappuccino and coffee latte Pads: they are intended for another machine Senseo - it also comes
Powdered milk in the Pads - and it tastes just like you would imagine: artificially.
- The Milka chocolate "pads" are very tasty, although they also come with milk powder
- There are a few tea pods, but you can still find something
- There is at Amazon coffeepad doses: very convenient and recommended
Finally, I find this machine (despite all the little things) highly recommended, because:
- It is usually very practical (especially for cappuccino and latte macchiato)
- There are many different coffee and the coffee tastes generally very good (but of course not as great, special coffee)
- The pods are generally more environmentally friendly than capsules and can be composted
- It is quite easy to clean
- The value is simply top
