The machine was not even repair. But this is also because, that live in such a house denkmalgeschützem in Lübeck's old quarter. In other words, extremely hard water + might also lead pipes (we do not know), and therefore feed the machine only with still mineral water.
I also clean the machine weekly (grounds container, water tank, drip collector comes in the dishwasher, the brewing unit is gereinig under the tap, wiped dry as much as possible and prior to inserting stored for so long until it is completely dry. The interior I suck most of ( wants to bring into the machine, because mildew hazard)) ungerne moisture.
Whether what we do everything useful or partly exaggerated is ... no idea, but the machine runs and runs and runs and has been for nearly a decade (next year it is applicable).
We like the machine that makes them extremely delicious coffee. (Of course, from the bean variety, degree of grinding, ... which we depend, of course, adapted to our taste)
What bothers me a bit:

One can multiply at Capponinos milk froth and coffee making parallel (both have their own brew group) but if you want only one, you first need to make the coffee, and then hold the cup and the Cappouninatpr. Modern machine have both liquid outputs (as I call it) next to each other so that you create a latte, ... in one step.
(2)
If I want to make a latte macchiato in big glasses, I have to remove the drip collector and place a dish towel down. Anons not fit the large glass. (Mostly not also attached high cups under).

One last comment: I would now buy a new machine, you could buy so 10 years ago? Hmmm ...
