Great music, but ...

After seeing the movie trailer for the first time (and especially the music heard), I could not resist and had immediately ordered the soundtrack CD. On the album you find a good mix of beautiful ballads such. B. of Florence Welch, Gotye, or fabulous Lana Del Rey and wild party songs like Fergie's A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got). I am passionate about the music and even dare say that the soundtrack of The Great Gatsby is one of the best ever.

And yet I forgive only four stars. That is the reality of the poor in my opinion packaging. If I ever buy a deluxe edition, I would like to have a real digipack or at least a normal CD case and not a thin cardboard sleeve where the CD just drinsteckt. This not only looks very cheap, but also to the fact that the CD scratched a lot faster results.

Musically So as mentioned a real masterpiece, but unfortunately not implemented as a physical ideal album. As for the music itself, there are of me but definitely a buy recommendation. ;)
