I bought to have it on my next trip, a relatively small, lightweight lens. Compromising the light intensity can be expected insofar as the quality please nearly my Canon EF 70- 200 / 2.8.
Both expectations were met, round 650g make the camera (X E2) surprisingly little top-heavy, the image quality is very good.
The image stabilizer is only audible in quiet environments, and is available in its quality to those of the latest generation of Canon in demand nothing very well.
Particularly at the long end of the stabilizer provides good services as 300mm (equivalent full-frame) are a challenge; here comes my EF 300/4 IS not.
Only the speed of the autofocus is a bit slow, compared to the XF 18-55 XF 10-24 or from the same manufacturer; and noticeably slower than the system from Canon.
For my purposes, not disturbing because I photograph rather static subjects with this lens.
(Autofocus tracking works with the X E2 at 3 frames / sec with this lens quite well, the X could T1 certainly better)
Overall, a lens with excellent price / performance ratio without compromising on image quality, what matters to me eventually.
Recommended!
A little tip: if according to patience I vorhanden- was lucky enough to save me 100 with the Fuji Cashback action; these actions, it should already have been several times.
