The triangular shape promotes a safe and ergonomically correct hold. The pins are very good in the hand and paint soft yet strong. Especially for motor not yet accomplished artists are therefore ideally suited.
In our primary school thick and thin crayons were demanded for the pencil case of children. However, just paint the younger children much prefer the thicker pins.
Unlike cheaper "no-name" products, the Stabilo pencils drawing by a be noticeably stronger color brilliance, but also by increasing longevity, because the better quality makes itself particularly well in an improved break resistance of mines noticeable (especially in younger children falls but often times a pen down, my experience of the entire pen with cheap pens is to then very quickly interrupted until unusable).
