The SMC FA 50mm F1.4 is better off by far. F1.4 is still soft, but from F1.8 very useful. From F2.2 the images are then crisp. At F4 it runs on to the highest forms. The AF is reliable, though not very quiet. Also you can manually adjust the focus very specifically thanks to the short design and the smooth but not too soft Focusrad. Qualitatively, there is the Pentaxbekannte quality. For portraits, it is ideal, but even at close range, as well as an all-rounder, it is just great! For my part I can only recommend the lens.
